Hi Tiger, You should configure gnubiff with --enable-debug option and the make/make install. Then you can start gnubiff from a terminal window. It will complain about having compiled with GNOME support but that doesn't matter. Then start gnubiff from gnome panel and you will have debug messages in the terminal window. Just send me the output (be careful that there is no password within, but it should not be the case).
