Gnome Subtitles 1.8 is out
I recommend that you install it from the official repositories. Example: https://community.linuxmint.com/software/view/gnome-subtitles and click Install You can check this link for installing apps on Linux Mint: https://www.reallinuxuser.com/how-to-install-applications-in-linux-mint/
It is the one offered here on Source Forge. There is no indication as to the version https://sourceforge.net/projects/gnome-subtitles/
Hi Ramona. How are you installing Gnome Subtitles? A recent version should be available in the Linux Mint software repository. You seem to be installing version 0.1, which would be 15 years old; version 1.6 should be available for you to install.

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. Currently there's no way to do this in Gnome Subtitles, but it does make sense to implement it in the future. I've added it to our bug list here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=792766
Hi, the title talks for itself. Thanks for great app. It's pretty straight forward. But this function would be helpfull. Gnome Subtitles shows next subtitle and ignore overlap, but not YouTube, it shows both lines until time expires. And 0:00:00.001 overlap looks realy distracting. Now I need go throug my clip and manualy resolve the issues.
