Gnac 0.2.1 released!!

Dear users of Gnac,

After several weeks of tests, Gnac 0.2.1 has finally been released!

This new version proposes several new features, including:

* custom rename patterns and folder hierarchy,
* option to strip special characters in filenames,
* possibility to copy an existing profile.

Call for translators

Dear users of Gnac,

All features for Gnac 0.2.1 have now been implemented! The strings have also been frozen. We are still running some tests, but you can expect the new version of Gnac to be out in one or two weeks. In the meantime, we are looking for translators, so if you would like to see Gnac in your language, join the Gnac adventure by providing us with an appropriate translation. Gnac 0.2.1 is on the road!!

First of all, thank you very much to all of you who provided us with some comments/suggestions.

If you still have some ideas, we are eager to hear them, so feel free to share them with us! We will do our best to satisfy all your requirements!

Gnac: 0.2.0 is out!

Gnac (GNome Audio Converter) is an easy to use audio conversion program. It is designed to be useful but pain-free for the end user. It provides easy audio files conversion between all GStreamer supported audio formats.

Gnac 0.1.1 released!!


As promised, Gnac-0.1.1 has been released!

Some improvements include better progressbar and more information about files.

We also spent a lot of time doing code refactoring, mainly in the conversion library which has been partly rewritten.

Feel free to send us your comments, feature requests or bug reports.

Gnac 0.1.1 is approaching!!


Thank you for those of you who tried Gnac and sent us their comments.
We have solved the problems you have reported to us and therefore, Gnac 0.1.1 will be released very soon!!

As some of you ask us to make a .deb package, we did it and it will be released with Gnac 0.1.1.

Gnac 0-1 released!!


Gnac's team is proud to announce the release of the first version of Gnac.

For the moment, Gnac is only available in English and in French (if you want to translate it in another language, please ask one of the project's admin).
The logo is a temporary one... so if you have some graphical skills and want your name (and your logo!) to appear in Gnac's about dialog, please feel free to send us your work!
Don't hesitate to report bugs or request new features (you can check the roadmap on Gnac's website to see what is planned for future version). ... read more

Gnac-0.1 will be released soon!

Hi everyone,

Some good news: Gnac-0.1 will be released very soon (at the latest toward the end of the week)!!

We just want to run more tests in order to provide you with the best version as possible.

We are also looking for a nice logo for Gnac, so if you have some graphical skills and want your name (and your logo!) to appear in Gnac's about dialog, please feel free to send us your work!
