I have just installed it on linux (ubuntu) and works (the installer) with wine

Seems that i need and gds32.dll , i will copy from an firebird2.1 install for windows

  Ok i downloaded the firebird 2.0.x zip package from firebirdsql.org
  I have extracted the fbclient.dll from the zip and put in the same dir as marathon
  
  c:\Program Files\Marathon
  
  and the renamed fbclient.dll to gds32.dll and worked

    Glad to hear that it works under wine.
    
    I don't currently have wine installed anywhere to be able to test this, so
