I've been contacted several times about the same error: the animation freezes during playback, with an error message referring to a call to Atioglxx.dll with AMD Radeon 780M graphic card.
I had this problem on my PC when I first got it, and I was able to fix it by reverting to the initial version of the graphics card driver.
In my case, it worked because the initial driver is version 31.0.14005.8004, which dates from 2023.
The same procedure on other PC's didn’t work because the initial driver version on PC's is 32.0.xxx (which is newer).
I ran the following test on my PC:
• Updated the AMD driver
• Tested the module
--> The animation crashed with an error message.
• I reverted to the original driver
--> The module worked fine.
What steps should be taken to get the GLScene animations working on these PCs? Would updating GLScene resolve this error?
