Try running spctl -a -vvv <path to disk image> and spctl -a -vvv -t execute <path to package> also codesign -dv <path to disk image> and codesign -dv <path to package> That should give you the answer or some indication. I'll try to look at things tomorrow. It would be great if you could test that one to make sure we have all the conditions met. You will need Rosetta to print anything. You can install Rosetta buy using the Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal) and use the command softwareupdate --install-rosetta You will have to accept a license from Apple in the process. If that all works as we fully expect it too, it will give everyone more a base to build on. Should we wait for notarization until we do some more testing? I think I can test it using a color laser pcl printer sometime this week. I don't want to pressure you on time Steve, but might we want to wait until you get your new computer and get it set up for builds? We could go right to arm and Intel fat binaries. That would eliminate getting users to install Rosetta. Again, I don't want to put any sort of pressure on you. I know it takes quite a lot of time to set up a new computer. I'll let you and Robert hash this out. I don't know how quickly Robert wants to get v5.3.4 out for the Macs. The v5.3.3 installer was crashing. Sometime would you tell me where and how you modified the CFLAGS. Was it on the ./configure line or in one fo the Makefiles? Outside of checking to see if it will install in macosx 10.6, I think we might be good to go. If it crashes in 10.6, we would have to work that out or change the preinstall script to minimum version 10.7. >> >> Matt >> >> |

You're going to need to modify configure.ac for that, to arrange for the default flags to be conditionalized correctly depending on OS. |

Ok, it is not notarized, when Michael has time I believe he will. I modified the auto* files to remove the offending defines. Seems I didn’t actually remove the posix source define. Taking that and c99 out fixes the build problem.
