It would be nice to have an additional window (on a separate monitor) that can be used for docking, similiar to the IDE window.

While it is already possible to dock additional windows to one of the dockable windows (e.g. the Grep Results window), those windows by default are limited in the way they work. E.g. they cannot be minimized, docking only works well in tabbed mode, in split mode there are sometimes no splitters.

Maybe GExperts could provide such a Window somewhow. Or maybe it could manipulate the "JoinDockForm" instance which is automatically generated by the IDE when two dockable windows are docked to one another.
