It seems that the latest version of GExperts won't load or save the MacroLibrary.xml file, instead only loading and saving .gxm files, being single macros, not a library of them. Or am I missing something?

--By the way, I was going to ask about this on the DelphPraxis forum, but I would have had to register and therefore agree to its Terms of Use, which I don't find acceptable, as they said that they could edit anything I post there, which it seems to me gives them the right to put words in my mouth.

I am not sure whether this ever was possible. Can you name a GExperts version that could load and save a MacroLibrary.xml file?
As a work around, you can always copy / replace the MacroLibrary.xml file in the GExperts storage directory. That directory is configured on the General page of the GExperts configuration dialog and defaults to
Sure, I can name a version—the latest one! What I think happened is this:
— I installed the latest version (for Rio)
— I went to use a save keyboard macro, but it wasn't showing up.
— I tried the Load Macro button on the macro library window, but it would only accept .gxm files.
— I changed the storage folder to the folder that I use, not the default (I may have done this before the previous step).
— I tried the Save Macro button on the macro library window, and it would only save .gxm files.
— I posted this bug report.
What I perhaps didn't do in all that is close and reopen Delphi after changing the storage folder. It's now working, using the MacroLibrary.xml file. It seems that GExperts opens that .xml file when it starts, and resaves it when it closes, but the open and save buttons only work for individual macros (and perhaps always have).
So you can close this bug report. It's all okay. Well, an improvement could be to load the macro library after changing the storage folder without having to close and reopen Delphi.
