There's a patch to do it at: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-434 The resolution isn't entirely accurate - it was voted down as geotools can't yet deal well with non-spec SLD, but the plan is to make it so it can. So the patch should eventually make it in. You can see it in action at: http://maps.massgis.state.ma.us/~sfarber/ka-map/ and Saul can probably help you apply the patch if you need help. best regards, Chris Quoting David Robison <drr...@op...>: > > > Is there a way to construct a SDL to draw annotate an Interstate > line with an Interstate shield and then draw the interstate number > inside it? In UNM MapServer I did it like: > > CLASS > STYLE > COLOR 0 0 0 > SYMBOL '../htdocs/images/ctyhwy.png' > END > LABEL > MINFEATURESIZE 50 > MINDISTANCE 150 > POSITION CC > SIZE TINY > COLOR 0 0 0 > END > END > > And then displayed it on an Annotation layer. Is there something > simular in GeoServer? > > Thanks, David Robison > ---------------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: https://webmail.limegroup.com/ |
