And the view needs an entry in the geom meta table. If you dig into the code I think you should find a way to make it work, like there's no huge deal breakers afaik. Thijs is one of our most experienced oracle users. Do you have any hints on how to get views working? Or if you never did, where it fell short? Also, Alex, if it's not done already, could you add a little section to the Postgis DataStore on how to get views working? I think the key trick is to name one of your columns 'oid', and everything works fine.
