For that we don't actually need to do anything, e.g., not need to explicitly set a maxFeatures. The reason the limit was set up is to make sure the browser does not get overwhelmed, getting a few hundred thousands features in XML will make Firefox use a inordinate amount of memory. So whatever we do someone will get hurt, either by not realizing the feature limit, or by having the browser explode in its face.
