Hi Miles, Great to meet you at FOSS4G! Some things have changed with styler lately so its probably a version mismatch of sorts. I have put together a new styler build and verified that it works with 2.0. You can get it from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/geoserver/files/GeoServer%20Extensions/2.0.0/styler.zip/download Let us know if that works for you. -Justin Miles Jordan wrote: > Hi all, > > I'd never seen the styler in action before FOSS4G - it was working quite well in the workshop but I can't for the life of me get it working here. > > Using a clean GS 2.0 (war) installation with REST plugin I downloaded styler version 1.7.3 and extracted it to the www directory as per the instructions at http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/GeoExt+Styler. > > Opening up index.html yields two errors in Firefox 3: > > GeoExt.ZoomSliderTip is not a constructor > [Break on this error] var Styler=Ext.extend(Ext.util.Observabl... > capabilities.capability is undefined > [Break on this error] var Styler=Ext.extend(Ext.util.Observabl... > > So I tried including GeoExt.js and the first error went away... but now the second one is still hanging around. > > I tried with Styler for Geoserver versions 1.7.1 also, and tried my own build from svn.
