Hi all!!!

gComandos is growing fast, we have plenty of task realized and ready to 
test.
The development process it is faster that i had imagined. At this moment you 
are on the list, but i only have a useful help for the web page (Robert), 
but nothing of help in the project. I hope you can check out subversion and 
start coding yourself. If you need some help setting up the development 
Environment, don't doubt to ask me.
Our webpage have a wiki page that will be useful to help you setting up this 
environment (It have already some documentation about it)
I sent a mail to Miguel Icaza (founder of gnome, creator of Midnight 
Commander, Ximian, Mono project, etc) and he says that, when we release the 
first version, he publish the screenshot on Mono Project home page.

Summary:

* The main window, with directory navigation it is already working, and have 
some improvement. It have 2 or 3 bugs to fix, if someone want to take this, 
don't doubt to ask.
* You can execute custom action in the execute action entry text. It only 
remain 1 fix.
* File Permission: You can now set/view file/folder permissions: 
Read/Write/Execute for user/group/others, take ownership, and change group.
* Select - Undo Select Files are almost done. You can now check the Add (+) 
keyboard of the keypad to select and minus (-) to undo select. You can 
select file one-by-one with keyboard space bar, or with insert key. You can 
enter a wildcard selection. (like: *.*)
* New File - The new file dialog it is already working, it is the dialog to 
create new empty file. In the future, when editor is called, it will open 
the default editor.
* New Directory - The new directory dialog it is already working. It is for 
directory creation.
* Icon and mime types are loaded in the panels. If it have a gnome icon 
assigned, it is loaded.
* You can now execute files (that are marked executable) from the panel, 
only pushing on the Return Key, or with Shift + Return with some parameter 
or with Ctrl + Return with parameter and it show return value. if you press 
on a file, that isn't executable but have associated application, it opens 
the default application.

The next task are hardly, but i guess that gComandos will be released in 
middle of february, so keep in touch to use the first release, or start 
helping.

We are looking to Graphic Designer, to help us with the logo, translators 
are welcome to and other contribution.. See our wiki for more information.
