My first language is Spanish, I can understand English perfectly because i read it daily (and hear it), but i doesn't have much opportunity to communicate on it, so expect a lot of misspelled words by me; and I also have an awful pronunciation (I only speak English when I'm on vacation on other country) I learned English by my self so may be this add more to the list. :-)

Just loaded on a new machine. All good but I noticed that the "wrench" page is not sized correctly for a 1920x1080 resolution with 150% scale (recommended settings).
Sorry to be a pest. This is low hanging fruit that users see.

Hi, Domenic.
Don't worry, all feedback is valuable for this project, test and report is a lot of help for this.
Taking your time to report problems is a great contribution.
I tested on 1920x1080 150% on my laptop and can't reproduce the problem, I designed GCstudio to be DPI aware, and i personally use it at 3840x2160 150% on my desktop workstation without problems.
Can you take a snapshot of the issue and post it please?
This way I can fix it fast.
Cheers.
Angel

I'm using 1920x1080 ... says recommended 100%
Full screen the wrench button display seems fine.
22" monitor dvi input
Is it meant to look like this?
I tried 1920x1080 150% and seems ok, just bigger stuff.
Corrected a typo on the config panel "update channel"
Integration of serial terminal inside the GCcode terminal. F9
it will try to connect automatically to the first com port found.
Added breadcrumb support for GCB language (Important Feature).

If you click an option you get a new screen but it is not obvious how to go back to the previous screen as there is no back button to the previous menu .
Probably easy but I can not see an obvious way.
If you clicked the wrong menu option and wanted to go back and reselect.
Here is an image of the wrench page when it first comes up. Funny, if I move the bar at top to resize but keep it this size the back button appears. BTW, this is 99.0212.
Hi Domenic. It's the same on my pc. but I can open full screen. I have no problems resizing or moving. I don't understand your problem.
What I found was when resizing your screen on my pc I got this screen. So something wrong.
I can't repeat the problem. I have found a back button on menus that I could not find before.
Gcstudio seems to have a mind of its own.
I like using it but I found copy and paste errors and thought my fault but maybe not.
But the editor is ms and they never make mistakes.

I see pickit2+ but not pickit3+
Why do posts get posted twice? happens to others
Update Released 99.02.11
Added PICKit3+ to tasks
In case of an update error, GC Studio still start
Removed Geany IDE option in config panel until needed (Related code still remains).
Changed GC Studio open behavior to open files on a single instance by default; added "-n" switch to open files on a new window.

Nice work You still spell chanel wrong :)
Last edit: stan cartwright 2022-03-16
ohh, really sorry, i will correct that on the next update.
English is not my first language :-(
Angel
chanel is expensive perfume and copyrighted :)
he he, i thought the same when i spotted the typo.
If interested I noticed in Evans youtube video he used #chip 328p with no ,16
ie #chip 328p,16
this reports 20MHz
UNOs run at 16. However, the chip is capable of 20.
So, just make sure the correct frequency is set.
using a uno or nano board won't the xtal make it 16MHz?
So use #chip mega328p,16
cheers
Using #chip 328p,16 gives 16MHz.
a problem?
I did post about this early when I saw his video. No answer
