Software is no longer available for testing.

We need to raise the funds to sort the certificate signing - the issue of Avast is certificate signing. Certificate signing is not cheap so as previosly posted we need to start to ask for help to fund this. This has NOTHING to do with Great Cow BASIC and is only relative to PICKITPlus software.

I have sent you an email.

Why not setup a PATREON account for funding. many 3D PRINTING software development is supported this way. How much is needed?

What a good idea. I will investigate. I am still recovering from the shock of the response from MicroChip.

If you load it to win with avast before release and wait for it to be cleared,
would it be safe on another machine install?

Ok. this post is a little long winded, but I thought I would share my experience as a win10 user who is not that familiar with anything but Picaxe programming. I recieved my copy of PK+ (Thank you :) ) and went to install it on my win10 machine. it came up with a window explaining it was unsigned, which I knew would be the case and not a problem- so I thought. When asked if I wanted to continue anyway, microsofts sense of humour appeared. There was only a "no" button. A google search found a host of different fixes, which I tried, and completeley locked me out of my original windows account. Second google search provided me with the answers to get back to the original point where I tried installing the software. It is at this point I decided a reformat would be a good idea. Microsofts humor continued with not letting me do anything anymore - change security settings, restore point, of even reformat. Thats when I decided the scorched earth policy woud be a good idea and stuck a new hard drive in and start from scratch.I dont think any of those issues are connected to trying to install the software, but I thought I would mention it just in case.

I now have win10 back and PK+ operating . dragged out my Microchip explorer8 board out, and tried to get it to connect. No luck. Tried so many different jumpers I lost track. I have a few different development boards, and in the end I dragged out my old QL200 which unbelievably worked! It has been nearly a month getting to this point.
So I have a development board that now connects to PK3+ but I cant seem to get it to connect to Great cow basic. GCB is the latest version Where the CGbasic -> edit programmer preferences -> Programers to use (in order) has a list of different options. I`m guessing this is where the issue is. Which one should I put at the top of the list?

All good! A bit more of a look around and some trial and error and I now have flashing LEDs :)
