All it does is create and transmit an XDR packet. I don't think it actually returns any output (although it may have a return value ... the code would tell you). On another note, I've found that XDR packets containing strings longer than some relatively small magic number don't get parsed correctly by gmond. So you may well be very disappointed by the results... |
