Gallery v1.5, latest cart with patches.

When you checkout and use Paypal to pay, continue
with the Paypal screen, and then when it gives the
option, press the Cancel button. Cancel Checkout
button then return to merchant link. This takes you back
to the order payment screen.
If you click pay by Paypal icon again, it takes the
money values across to the Paypal payment, but not
name/address etc.

This isn't a bug so much as a security feature.

The return from PayPal only passes the order ID.
It does not pass the client's confirmation code (because we
don't want that going all over :)
Since we only have 1 of 2 verification items we cannot be
completely sure it is the client, so we only query the order
itself and not the clients information.
PayPal has fields for that info that the client can fill in-or for
that matter the PayPal order can be set up to be non-
shipping (so they aren't asked for that) since all the order info
is stored on your own server. However that might be
    confusing.

I am working on setting up a PayPal IPN -maybe- for next
release, but likely as a cvs patch (I'm late enough getting the
next version out as is :). That will allow more verification.

    Options:
I can add a disclaimer on the status payment pages (for
security reasons yada yada...) explaining to the client.

I can tell you the change to make in the page to pull all the
info (note-I -am- changing how database calls are made, so if
you want to do this I'll have to show you how to do it in the
    next release too).

Wait and see if the IPN solution works (and/or implement one
    of the above).

I'll leave this status as pending for responses.

An alternative could be the Paypal return page would not have
    the Paypal button.
Reason is that if you have returned from Paypal, then you
have either paid and don't need the link again, or cancelled, in
which case you don't want to use Paypal...
The Paypal button could still be available from the link
    emailed to the buyer though.

    Darren,
See if v0.42 addresses this problem.
I have changed the PayPal interface quite a bit.
Oddly it's now not always sending the address info, but I will
    keep working on it. :)
But the button, whether from the thank you page or the
status page should pass info to PayPal consistently now.
