I was trying to image an SATA drive in a dell optiplex 320. I selected
Backup after I set everything and hit enter and it just go to option A:
without displaying any errors. When I was imaging a laptop: I'd select backup then the select harddrive list would pop up. Later I found out that I picked a kernel with no SATA support.
I think it should say no hardrive(s) found and not just go back to option A

What kind of error messages are you referring to? The Progress screen does show error messages that are written to the ncftp status file.
