Due to some work yet needed to be done the previous schedule that pointed out for August 1st is no longer valid. The reasons for this delay are good reasons for us, developers, but probably not for the overall community, such has: - m_tadeu MCSD Certification, wich took him almost 5 months to make all the exams, on his own, very hard, but he managed to get one of the highest Certifications for Microsoft solutions. - RCampos VideoGraphics Discreet Certification, wich will take me 4 months to complete. - Last but not least, we are doing this for our own benefit and willing to share it with all of you guys with FuseMail accounts and Linux Systems, but we have an 8 hour day job and 4 hour University at night, and this reduces our time to work a "tiny" bit. The alpha 1 should be released around October, possibly a KDE only version, since MTadeu has the lead on the KDE front, I am responsible for GNOME and hadn't yet catched up with him, we are building the system in order to keep it usable with JAVA and C/C++ languages. Don't expect any fancy UI for any of the alpha releases, our main focus is the base system, beta stage will bring the UI fancy stuff that we all like. Anyway, m_tadeu is going to release its KDevelop/KPart WebServices module some time soon, this gets very handy for the project. I am still posting this for the old Mailing List at SF.NET, but please make sure to switch to the new Mailing List at BerliOS. Best Regards for all, RCampos You can reach us at BerliOS: http://developer.berlios.de/projects/fuseplug/ http://developer.berlios.de/projects/kdev-webserv/ -> KDevelop Plugin for WebServices |
