I'm uploading the initial release of a new graphical text adventure game by Wayne Peplow (with the author's permission). It was created with DAAD for the Spectrum 128, and works fine in other emulators (e.g. zxsp, Retro Virtual Machine, Clock Signal…).

When attempting to load this .tap file in Fuse, the emulated Spectrum simply crashes (colourfully); hence the game cannot be loaded as distributed.

If the game is loaded in a different emulator and saved as a snapshot, Fuse is then able to load and run the snapshot fine; the problem only occurs during loading of the .tap file.

I have encountered a similar problem just once before, and that too was with a newly released adventure game written with DAAD. It'd be great if this problem could be investigated and fixed. Thank you.

Thanks, this looks like an incompatibility with Fuse's "Detect Tape Loaders" option - turning that off allows the TAP to load as expected.

There are other problems with that feature listed here https://sourceforge.net/p/fuse-emulator/bugs/218/

This is fixed in Fuse 1.9.2, thanks for the report!
