    Thanks for the patch. I think I'd prefer to just bite the bullet and fully support the block type so it works for read and write and allow the libspectrum API to be extended to cover it. I think it was left out before as Phil had got frustrated with the complexity of the TZX format.

    Sounds good, two more requests: JLO menu state paths do not match the actual menu menu_data.dat:467-517 creates drives named Drive 0: through Drive 3:. ui.c:672-742 looks up Drive A: through Drive D:. Consequently, ui_menu_activate() sends nonexistent paths to the UI backend. Eject/save/flip/write-protect enablement will not update correctly and may produce backend errors.
