Hi,
I previously submitted a patch for SpeccyBoot (simple Ethernet) emulation in December 2009. The patch emulates a minimal piece of Ethernet hardware I designed as a hobby project a while ago:
http://speccyboot.sourceforge.net/
However, having received no feedback at all, I'm suspecting I dropped the patch in the wrong place, so consider this my gentle request for this feature. I'm a bit of a SourceForge newbie (though fairly experienced as a developer), so I'm a bit uncertain about the procedure.
The ongoing discussion of features for the next Fuse release inspired me to revisit this patch. I'd be very happy for any feedback and would gladly develop the patch to meet your expectations, whether for this release or a future one.
The originally submitted Fuse patch is here:

If you think I'm spamming you with this SpeccyBoot stuff, I apologize. Feel free to reject it in this case.
Regards,

No - what you did was pretty close to perfect. What failed was that the project admin (me!) failed to get back to you in any way, for which I apologise.
I'm definitely interested in getting SpeccyBoot into Fuse - I'll bring this up on the mailing list.
Thanks for reminding me about this, as I'd forgotten entirely.
Again, my apologies.
I see, no problem.
Let me know how I can be of assistance. I've written up some notes on how to get the patched Fuse working here:

I guess this should now be closed as speccyboot is in svn?
Yes, thanks for committing this. Closing.
