Hi,

I'm not sure if this is a real bug because I don't have an actual Spectrum to compare it to, but while the new beeper in the recent Fuse versions (testing 1.10.0 now) is very good in general, in some cases I find the filter a bit too aggressive, for lack of a better term.

Take the 48K version of Midnight Resistance and listen to the first 5 seconds of the title theme, then compare it to the TV Speaker output.

That's a very obvious case, but I also notice the problem with Ranarama, it's as if the deeper notes were mute.

Hmmm, I'm using a different pair of headphones and I cannot reproduce the problem now. Wait a bit then, maybe it's a problem with my setup.

I did quite a bit of research on the 16/48K beeper and I think that it is just a very much less bass capable than even a simple cassette player or small TV speaker which is why I wanted to represent it so people could have a more authentic experience.

Fuse is even being less aggressive given it would actually be firing down on a desk or maybe into carpet in front of the family TV.

Of course, there is the override in the sound menu for the classic MIC socket or unfiltered ideal sound which a user can save as default if the old way is best for their taste.
