#526 Visual artifacts when generating a video from an RZX file

No

This is easier to reproduce than to explain:

  • Open Fuse, start an RZX recording and type any BASIC keyword.
  • Leave the L cursor blinking for a couple of seconds and stop the recording.
  • Make a movie from that RZX (Movie -> Record from RZX).
  • Turn the .fmf file into an .avi, .mkv or whatever.

If you play the resulting video you can see an artifact in how the L cursor blinks. It should be a normal L or a reversed L, but here it's underlined. See the attached screenshot.

I suspect that this has something to do with the frame rate of the video, but using fmfconv -f 25 does not help.

Tested with fuse-utils 1.4.7, libspectrum 1.6.4 and Fuse from git (ae264f66).

I forgot to say that if I make the movie directly, without any RZX file involved, I don't see the same artifact.

Thanks, fixed in [cdf3cb]. That was a bit of a puzzle!
