I tried to play 1942 in Fuse and it doesnt load, just resets the Spectrum. I tried in 48k, 128k, etc.
In other emulators it loads fine, I guess that it may be a Fuse problem, not sure.
Works perfectly for me :) (well with Detect Loaders off I have to use the play control of the tape menu to get the tape started) What version of Fuse are you using? I"m using 1.3.5
Maybe you could record your Fuse session to a movie so I can see what you are experiencing?

Looks like it isn't compatible with the "Detect Loaders" feature - turn that off and the tape will load properly.
The root cause will need to be identified.

Confirmed as working with detect loader off and failing with it on. Added to check_loaders as a test case.
As both 1942 and Bomb Jack are Elite releases which fail in a very similar way, I strongly suspect they'll have the same root cause.
