It is a difficult port. The A/D and buffers being the hardest abstraction
layer. I've been experimenting with this off and on, and I have not had
good results in the memory space available. Before doing anything else, you
must have a working A/D and D/A abstraction layer to handle the modem data.

Forget about all else :-)
