Hi, I'm trying to get a map on my website, and always get a java applet window popup that tells me:  could not open url...etc.
I am 100% sure the path is right.  The jar is in the same folder as the map.
I'd be thankful for any ideas.  Thank you...

      Hi anonymous user,

yes, that's to difficult; I had the same problems.

The best you can do is to write the *complete* path of your URL into the HTML-Document that starts freemind.

Otherwise you may try to put in "./map.mm" to express that it is in the same directory,
but then, I would suggest you take the latest CVS version, because even then, in version 0.6.7 java searches in the directory, the
virtual machine was started and not in the directory where the URL is located. This is a bug resolved in the next version, as I just told.

      Greetings, Christian

      Thank you Christian,

(I believe) I put the complete path in the .htm doc, and I tried the relative link as well.  No go.

Could you point a newbie to the process for incorporating latest CVS?

I love the clouds for presentation (drawing attention and then unbolding when we move to a different area).  Is there any way to keep bold, and not have clouds?

Link Arrows are very cool too.  Can't understand how colour is applied, but am looking forward to development here.  It would be useful if clicking on the arrow centred the target when you have a large mostly unfolded map.

Let me know when you want to get paid for this work.  Mine will be the first check.

      Hi Christian,

No longer anonymous.  I will send you an email with the same title as this thread okay?
      Thanks for your close attention.

      Hi everyone,

Turns out my webhost would not run the file because of unknown extension .mm.

Not Freemind's fault!  (works fab on another server)

      John
