Freemind links to office documents Word & Excel wont open the files

I have a similar issue. PDFs and website links open fine. Excel and Word Docs do not. I get the error "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application". The error seems to come from Excel or Word, as my (Windows) task bar has an icon matching the application for the error dialog box. However, if Excel or Word is already open, then the link works just fine.

I still cannot get it to open, it seems to be a windows sp1 issue as well....
