Cheers Russell, I was just copying bits from the macOSX host on the CVS to try getting it to work in my xtra (the code seems similar to what I got for pc, so Im writing it all xplat with #defines... Macromedia Director Xtras need to be compiled with CodeWarrior.. I have no idea where to get the mach-o stuff working tho, Ive been finding info about other alternatives, but Im not sure how they are compatable with the freeframe files .frf (like CFBundle etc.. which yet I know very= little about..) if anyone knows where to download some dev lib for using mach-o (specially containing the missing dyld.h) I would be grateful. the macOSX host on the CVS is from 2003.. if anyone got a newer, and/or better implementation on mac running for a freeframe host (f.ex. the one in Isadora ?), well I just need the code for loading and calling the "plugMain" thats it, I got the rest :) Also Im working now on updating _all_ my effects, now over 100, to reduce some redundancy and to make it easier to compile stuff, including Mac #defines and stuff to be xplat, in an attempt to make it ready to just compile on the mac mini, so hopefully, well its going to take a bit of time Im sure, I will have mac versions of all my effects when this job is done= :) Cheers, Thomas / Intrinsic *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** On 17.08.2005 at 09:28 Russell Blakeborough wrote: >Hi mate > >Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong here ... > >I'm not sure if anyone has published the freeframe integration into code >warrior yet > >the FreeFrame SDK is for XCode which is the free C++ / objective C dev >environment that comes with OSX now (used to be project builder and >interface builder) this is the Darwin port of GCC > >I doubt if it will be very hard to finish stuff off, but it might be >quite confusing > >does anyone have any code warrior code they're willing to open source? >(pref a small amount of essential code on the BSD license or similar so >everyone can use it) > >we really need to kickstart mac freeframe now the hosts are coming on= board > >Thomas Hellesen wrote: > >>let me rephrase.. how can I load a freeframe ".frf" into a mac host >>that is carbon.. ?
