Bit of background: I've got an old Pentium 1 machine that could barely run= the Win95 it came installed with. I'd like to make it more usable, and= it looks like FD is the key. I can run it from the CD-ROM with no problems, but I'd really like to get= it running from the hard drive. When I try to install it however, the= following happens: Mouse driver installs no problem. CWSDPMI tries to install twice. Then I= get the error message: General Protection Fault at EIP=3D20; FLAGS=3D3217 EAX=3D2AAAA9D3 EBX=3D800012E0 ECX=3D00000005 EDX=3D2AAACB78 ESI=3D000647F5= EDI=3D000021A5 EBP=3D2AAAA9D3 ESP=3D0000075C CS=3DA7 DS=3DAF FS=3D8F GS=3D0 SS=3D8F= ERROR=3D0000 Is there a simple fix for this, or do I have to try downloading it again? --Andrew www.tru-lifeadventures.com |
