Sorry for my English.
If I run FreeDOS form floppydisk an I needed 2 Disk for Programs, by MSDOS I can boot the operatingsystem, change the Disk and take a CTRL-C. The directory of the disk was new readed with out a reload of the COMMAD.COM an other components. This dos not work under FreeDos and make the work with FreeDOS more difficult.
I assume this can be done with the actual FreeDOS diskettes. I think this thread can be closed.
If I understand correctly... The user would boot and exit the installer to run a program from a different diskette. I that is the case, the user can select "Exit to DOS" in FreeDOS 1.2 and later to accomplish the same task. So, this support issue was resolved a while ago.
