#248 Replace confusing native settlement $ sign with something less confusing
I recently learned that the native settlement titles like "Qosqo, Inca Capital (Hateful)$" in the window that opens when you click a native settlement are not a typo (the weird dollar sign), but that that the dollar sign mean that you're supposed to send a scout to that settlement.
This is completely un-obvious and confusing.
I propose to remove this dollar sign in favor of some more intuitive kind of symbol. Either some icon with tooltip, or by adding an additional like of text, or maybe both.
I also noticed the dollar sign also might appear in the "Indian Advisor" window. Sometimes there is also an asterisk (also no idea what this is, and for some reason does not appear in the settlement window). So for the Indian Advisor I suggest to add a new column instead. Not sure about how to do it right, but one idea is to add a column labelled "Scouted" and then a checkmark for settlements that were scouted. I don't know what to do with the asterisk, since I don't know what it means. :-(
So my suggestion is not fully fleshed out, but my main point is that adding random characters at the settlement is just very confusing. Please discuss! :-)
I note with amusement that the $ was added in response to a previous request which called for some quick indicator that you had not scouted here yet. Apparently we can not please everyone.

Well, I don't disagree that this indicator on concept has its usefulness, IF you know what it means. That unscouted settlements are marked in a special way IS useful, it's just done in a IMHO strange and confusing way.
My point is not to remove the information altogether, its more about displaying in a more accessible way (like an icon+tooltip).
This is also not about myself only, it's about UX in general. I suspect only a small minority will actually understand the meaning of the dollar sign.
