A number of times, I have stressed my food production (-6 to -8) and tried to compensate by storing purchased food. I noticed recently that if I add, say, 100 units to 138 units, on the next turn I only have 38 units. The food warehouse does not seem to have the limits of Depot/Warehouse, though. It's easy to accumulate more than 100 units quickly if you stress agriculture early on. But almost at random this bizarre punishment kicks in. There are no warning about overages for food storage. Is there an undocumented limit? Or is this a bug?

When your food storage reaches 200 the food dissappears and you receive a free colonist instead.
Joel -- Oh joy. But thanks.
