Large chunks of project gretl's git history seem to be missing in the web interface to git (since yesterday, I think). At https://sourceforge.net/p/gretl/git/ci/master/tree/lib/src/ , for example, many files are now showing "unknown" for date of last modification. A few days ago correct information was shown for all the files.
I took a look again today. So far as I can tell, the "missing information" problem seems to be confined to source files that haven't been modified in quite a long time (something like, prior to 2015). But as I indicated, last-modified info for these files was displayed correctly until quite recently.
Hi,
This is a bug with how some data is fetched for this directory tree view, in certain situations. We've created a ticket for our Engineering team to fix it. Your git data is all there, don't worry about that. The "History" view and "Browse Commits" view, for example, show all the history.
Thanks,
SourceForge Support.
Thanks for looking into this, and for the reassurance!
Is there any update on the missing history for projects?

Maybe it's on the flipside, do you think?
Ignoring the last 2 rubbish postings. But this is still an issue: it seems like there's now a date before which git commit info falls into a black hole. Recent commits are fine.
