I have started and quite well into it, a project for Maintenance Management in Industry. It is programmed in VB.Net, ASP, a few Java Print functions and tied into MySQL and is session based.
I am an electronics tech by trade and started this because I was not pleased with an expensive rentware program that just didn't have features we felt we needed or wanted and to buy a custome made program is not even considerable .
I still have three major functions to do.
1) Issue what we in the industry call PM's/ (Preventive Maintenance Workorders). This section would take on automatically issuing a workorder to the Maintenance Foreman based on frequency (1 week to one or more years) It needs to be automatic based on MySql function monitoring, then format the data so it is readable by those that would see it in an email or to print it.
2) I would like to get some mobile app ability to use an app to punch in a part number and quantity taken or put back to update the inventory. (The warehouse were we store all the parts does not have internet access).
3) Ability to set this up at a new site so that it can configure itselt. Basically install the program and MySql, test for contectivity and then create Database and Tables required by the new user.
Now besides that, there is a ton of polishing to do as I am not a programmer by trade and I am 100000% positive that there are much better ways to do this.
Example being, I was using a seperate page to pass parameters to and then print the information. Tthen discovered I could set a frame and print just what was in the frame. Uggh! Live and learn!!
Other areas are I keep getting nagged by Visual Studio Community to use a different way for my user credentials.
Would also like to take this to an HTTPS project.

I have a project that I started over 20 years ago, set it aside about 12 years ago, and am back to finishing it up now. It is written in VB6 and needs to be converted to a more current language. See https://sourceforge.net/projects/bidbase/ for more info.
I also have a Natural Language Understanding project that I started decades ago and because of the volume of data needed for it, I'm nowhere near finishing it. See www.aeyec.com for more info.
