I have once again rewritten the Remove Overlap command (and all its cousins). It appears to be much stabler. I haven't had any crashes from it for a while. Aside from that, I'm not sure it produces better results, but at least it doesn't crash on failure. (or I think it doesn't). I have also changed the behavior slightly so that it is more similar to other commands. >From the fontview everything works as before, but from the character view only contours which contain selected points are handled by remove overlap (or intersect or find intersections. The Exclude command works as before (selected contours remove anything within them)). If nothing is selected, then the entire glyph will be handled. This is the way most other commands behave in the character view. The new version is in the cvs tree. I shall post a new build shortly. |
