Hello:

It doesn't seem possible to send Potrace/Autotrace parameters from Python (or 
the legacy FF scripting language). I checked the function definition and no 
parameters are allowed.

We might want to add some, I didn't know holding down shift works like that 
but you're right, it does. You might want to open a GitHub issue to track 
this.
