Or if you let the system scale it, looks bad. I just want to do a couple of the system fonts, not make hundreds of them. By default, X uses 100 dpi bitmapped fonts, then drops to 75 dpi, then Type1. It will be easier to create two or three double-size (hopefully smooth) bitmaps rather than rearrange the entire operating system. There are also some programs which insist on using bitmap fonts. I don't have 10-power vision anymore :( |
