Could it be that Tony is using the length of the front strut fully extended rather than the compressed length? When I do nothing but shorten the strut by 4 or 5 inches, everything falls into place as if by magic: the 3D model sits level on the ground, the AI reads correctly, the plane's takeoff is much more like the takeoff in FLY!, and I can see the runway over the panel.
