[Flightgear-users] ADDING NAV AIDS

I am trying to add the ILS approach Navaids to the nav.dat.gz  file.
 
If I leave the file alone and just ungzip it it works  fine.
 
If I gzip the unzipped file it still works  fine.
 
If I add a line for for any of the Navaids ILS  Localizer, GS, MM or OM 
flightgear errors on startup with whether the file  is gzipped or not.
 
Unknown exception in main loop aborting 
 
Can I get some clues as to what I'm doing  wrong?
