Y'all are invited to help me run the FlightGear booth in San Diego at the O'Reilly Open Source Conference between July 24 and July 27 2001. I must submit names for badging this week. Are you interested ? Please let me know SOON ... http://conferences.oreilly.com/oscon/ For anybody considering attending the conference streams, I believe that you might be eligible for a substantial discount off the registration fee. This would be in addition to the early booking discount (expires June 22). The streams look interesting, and there will be a panel discussion between Craig Mundie, representing Microsoft's "Shared Source" concept, and Michael Tiemann from Red Hat, representing the "Open Source" concept. Southwest Airlines flies into San Diego, and the conference hotel is within walking distance of the airport (although there is a shuttle). By the way, if you're flying yourself in GA, I recommend landing at KMYF and giving me a call instead of dealing with the fees and delays at KSAN. |
