(2) Joystick handle rotation as the rudder axis is inaccurate in flight. (3) Linking aileron and rudder gives silly negative dutch roll effects. (4) Getting diff brakes from lateral joystick disables common brakes. (5) Ground steering needs rudder or differential braking support. (6) The SJC scenery needs ground handling for effective demonstration. An alternative would be to define the brakes as sum and difference of the two joystick axes, but I don't know how to do that either. Also, that would not be a very good solution because full back elevator is used during landing flare and having the brakes on would burst the tires. |
