The gear code isn't meant to be intentionally abused. However, I am
about to add code that freezes the sim if you screw up so badly that you
kill yourself. This is the point where a communications mode would come
in handy for FlightGear. I'll try and put something together. I suppose
after a crash/freeze the sim should put itself into a good state, too.
