Should Adobe have > made some > "improvement" making it incompatible? Hi Michael, Thanks, but you don't need to send any files to me. The problem only happens with Acrobat reader 5.0.1. I tried opening getstart.pdf with Acrobat 4.0 on a friend's machine and it worked fine (as you confirmed), so download size is not the problem. I've tried 5.0.1 on two machines (WinNT and Win2000) and getstart.pdf will not open on either one. Other .pdf files open up fine, even very large ones. No doubt other users are or will be using Acrobat Reader 5.0+, so yes it might be a good idea to check on this. Cheers, Paul Paul R.
