Political map: we can just use map tiles from OSM, and if someone doesn't like the name that is displayed for a country, we tell them to please discuss that with OSM :) Also, perhaps we can omit the selectable feature, but I've never been a fan of a map that doesn't tell me anything about the geographical location of the airport, only what other airports and most importantly, gazillions of way points / VORs / NDBs are around it - so, if we could make these show / hideable and use a satellite / OSM map as the base map instead of whatever this is that we have right now, I think that would be a huge plus. Graphics: True, I didn't check what exactly wasn't showing why - if we still have people using textranslate, fix your aircraft please :D But even on the A320 the canvas displays were not showing (he might not have used the HDR converted version tho if there is one). AIrcraft quality: Yeah, I know - that's why I think we should put a handcrafted list of ~10 high-quality aircraft from different ages, types and roles somewhere, so that new users don't get put off because they download a 10 year old, unmaintained model from somewhere. At the very least, we should find a way to keep those out of the launcher - honestly I have no idea though how this could be accomplished. Am Di., 30.
