MSVC6 BUILD Hi, you were off for a while, fixing a server :-( I was off for a while attending a baptism :-) But it is all done ... I have now built a NEW set of MSVC6 build file, and included in my MSVC6-FGFS32-0.7.7.zip is :- a) two READ ME's, README.TXT for downloading and unzipping the source parts, and README2.TXT for the set up prior to starting MSVC6 b) INCLUDE\config.h - single config.h for this build. c) SimGear\SimGear\compiler.h - single compiler.h for this build. d) Lib\GL - containing the GL kids. e) MSVC6\FGFS32\FGFS32.dsw, and each of the project DSP files in their respective folders. f) FIXED.zip - containing the 19 source file I had to 'fix' to do this build. They are listed in README2.TXT. As usual, some fixes are quite minor, but others ... but ALL are essential for a MSVC6 build. g) DIFFER.zip - containing differ.txt, showing each and every change I made to the 19 source files, with line numbers. Not too big really ... h) WARNINGS.zip - containing warnings.txt, list ALL the some 195 warnings that I did not 'fix'. Well, I did touch a few later ... Thus if someone wants this 170K zip, please tell me where to send it ... Now, and only now, can I get down to coding ... This later, circa 4 May 2001 gz/zip set, runs = 'slower' than my few weeks ago CVS source ... It exhibits the same 'all light blue' at start up looking forward on the DEBUG build. A v key-in, and the scenery fully appears ... strange! It climbs, turns and dives, but never seems to 'crash'!!! But this is just about the MSVC6 build. I hope others are interested ... so we can compare notes, etc ... Regards, Geoff. mailto: Geo...@Co... 11 May, 2001 |
