I’m a bit busy to dig into what might be happening here, it would be good if someone else who can debug C++ tries to replicate and see if we can understand what is going on here. As far as I know, nothing should have intentionally changed in the C++ parts of this for ‘quite some time’ (last commit in the directly mentioned code is nine yers ago)
