There is no mechanical lock by itself, but in the simulator opening the cockpit with Shift-C is just one accidental keypress away, e.g. you can press it when trying to press Shift-V or Shift-F. But in real life you are protected from accidentally opening it by having to reach all the way there and pull the both handles. |
