If you give someone a gun, you are somewhat responsible if they shoot themselves in the foot. Or anywhere else :)

So I would never recommend ‘git rebase -i’ to anyone without checking they understand, it’s a powerful tool, which can destroy work if used incorrectly. I know the reflog exists but I’d much sooner people were *really* careful about setting up their rebase command file, than just being relaxed and then having to spend hours fixing a mess they made.
