I.e add an entry saying: > > 'Advanced weather is enabled, please check visibility and cloud > settings [here]’ > > (or whatever wording people prefer…) Well - did I mention that I grudgingly went along with the weather dialog merge? Anyway - the dialog is *pretty* important unless you want to be stuck with a 20 km (?) visibility cap and items like the atmosphere polution where 'banished' there on the grounds that 'one expects them to find them under weather settings'. But while there's some overlap with rendering, most of the settings really are primarily weather-related. So... I guess by default BW is active? Would it make sense to have a pop-up offering to configure AW in detail every time AW is selected as the weather engine (possibly this would not be too intrusive, as you'd typically do that once and then mostly remain with the selected engine)? I guess once you've seen the dialog and what it does, you tend to look for it again. (Generally I guess I'm not really good at these things because I'm the type of user who just goes trying every menu entry just to see what is available...) * Thorsten |
